Job Summary
Implement lesson plans provided by regular teachers to ensure consistent instruction during absences. Maintain classroom management and discipline in accordance with school policies while adapting to various teaching assignments and grade levels as needed. Communicate pertinent information or feedback to school administrators regarding student progress or behavioral concerns. Complete required training including first aid, CPR, and behavior management certification. Background check and fingerprinting are mandatory per Massachusetts regulations. This temporary part-time role supports the school's mission of academic excellence and character formation for diverse students.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Background check and fingerprinting as required by Massachusetts regulations
- Completion of any required training or certifications upon hire, including first aid, CPR, and behavior management training
