Job Summary
Design, coordinate, and oversee grade-level and division-wide student life programming for grades 6–8; collaborate with Division Deans to support student culture and division-wide initiatives; report to and partner with the 6–8 Rabbi to integrate Jewish values, learning, and rituals into student life programming; plan and oversee middle school assemblies, celebrations, and commemorations connected to the Jewish calendar and school life; plan and support learning activities surrounding Jewish holidays that are developmentally appropriate and experiential; support and advise middle school student leadership structures, including student council and related committees; help design and facilitate leadership development experiences appropriate to middle school students; collaborate with faculty advisors to align advisory programming and student life initiatives; support grade-level retreats and Shabbatonim in partnership with the 6–8 Rabbi and division leadership; assist with calendar planning, logistics, and supervision for student life events; communicate clearly and professionally with faculty, students, and families regarding student life programming and expectations; maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when supporting students and managing sensitive situations; serve on relevant middle school and school-wide committees as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced study in education, Jewish education, educational leadership, or related field preferred.
