Job Summary
The Busser at Mexican Sugar is responsible for providing friendly, efficient service of food and beverage while maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Key responsibilities include bussing and manicuring tables, polishing silverware and glassware, maintaining cleanliness of workstations, stocking and replenishing supplies, and assisting servers in maintaining their tables. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to lift and move heavy items, and adherence to state and federal laws regarding food and alcohol service. All staff must arrive on time for scheduled shifts and follow uniform guidelines. Additionally, participation in E-Verify is required to verify employment eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and properly utilize a tray.
- Obtain and update any required certifications.
Additional Requirements
- Must follow all safety guidelines set out by the restaurant.
