Job Summary
Instructs middle school show choir participants, develops and organizes practice programs, and schedules practices. Supervises students from the start of practices through completion, including on buses during trips; promotes the overall Norwalk Activities program and fosters sportsmanship, pride in self, team, school, and community, along with a healthy lifestyle. Communicates rules and guidelines to parents, ensures eligibility lists are maintained per district rules, and adheres to safety laws and district policies. Requires ability to use computer networks/software, organize and coordinate work, and effectively collaborate with students, parents, and coworkers. Yearly contract; non-exempt.
Required Qualifications
- Previous show choir experience, either as a sponsor or participant, preferred.
