Job Summary
Investigate and evaluate hydraulic and pneumatic products returned from customers, performing fault diagnosis and creating teardown reports to aid the quotation process. Repair products in accordance with component maintenance manuals and repair schemes while following engineering drawings, work orders, and SOPs. Communicate with internal and external partners to complete paperwork and electronic information required for releasing repaired products back into service. Maintain stock accuracy by picking jobs and ensuring batch traceability of all parts. This role supports Pall Corporation's global filtration and purification solutions within the Danaher ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to understand drawing details and quality requirements
- Always maintain safe working practice
- Operate within Company laid down procedures
- Ability to follow engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process
- Ability to investigate & evaluate hydraulic and pneumatic product returned from our customers
- Ability to carry out fault diagnosis
- Ability to create teardown report
- Ability to repair products in accordance with component maintenance manuals and repair schemes
- Ability to communicate with Internal/External Partners
- Ability to ensure all paperwork and electronic information to allow the release of the repaired product back into service is completed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in helping ensure stock accuracy by picking jobs and owning job transactions
- Ability to maintain batch traceability of all parts
- Experience with SAP (or similar) systems
- IT literate
