Job Summary
MRO Site Sourcing Leader role focused on leading maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) sourcing for the Schenectady, NY site. Drives competitive bids and negotiations to optimize quality, delivery, pricing, and commercial terms with key suppliers; partners with Global/Regional Commodity Leaders and cross-functional stakeholders (Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Finance, Supply-Chain) to implement sourcing strategies, execute RFQ processes, and select suppliers for projects; onsite role with strong emphasis on collaboration, policy adherence, data analysis, and ability to propose solutions beyond standard parameters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Job Family Group/Function)
- 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain or sourcing role
- 3-5 years of experience in negotiations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to implement and drive process improvements
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to set and execute priorities
