Job Summary
MRO Site Sourcing Leader responsible for leading Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Sourcing for the Schenectady, NY site. Leads RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, and collaborates with Global/Regional Commodity Leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive best quality, delivery, pricing, and commercial terms. Partners with manufacturing, process engineering, finance, and supply-chain to ensure suppliers meet organization needs. Onsite position located in Schenectady, NY. The role requires strategic sourcing, data analysis, process improvement, and strong communication to drive program execution and supplier performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Job Family Group/Function
- 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain or sourcing role
- 3-5 years of experience in negotiations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to implement and drive process improvements
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to set and execute priorities
- Six sigma certification or experience with Lean tools (preferred)
