Job Summary
Perform Receiving, Preliminary, Hidden Damage, In-Process, and Final Inspections as per RSMQCM procedures to assure compliance with FAR's and ensure calibrated equipment remains current. Verify that all inspections are properly executed on completed work, confirm proper inspection records are used prior to releasing products, and determine that no defective or unairworthy materials are installed in released components. Support the organization by serving as a quality liaison, conducting periodic facility audits for internal and external compliance, and assisting in planning inspection standards and procedures. Report to the MRO Quality Manager in an onsite Miramar, FL role with a 9/80 schedule, requiring 3+ years of FAA 145 MRO experience and an A&P license.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalency
- 3+ years FAA 145 MRO inspection experience
- A&P license or ability to qualify for Repairman license
- Ability to effectively communicate, in English as required by the FAA
- Qualified to use Measuring equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft tools, ERP systems, and other assorted software
- Ability to pass physical and DOT requirements, initially and continually
- Accessory, Avionics, Instrument and Radio experience with verifiable training records
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)
Desired Qualifications
- A+P license preferred or ability to meet Repairman Certificate requirements per Repair Station Ratings for Accessory, Instruments and Radio
