Job Summary
Develop monthly production plans, organize production meetings, and manage material allocation for production work orders. Schedule rotatable assets, oversee floor stock availability, and coordinate the creation, release, and completion of internal work orders. Communicate material demand and delivery schedules with supply chain functions to support production requirements. This role reports to the Warehouse & Planning Manager in an onsite Miramar, FL environment within a fast-growing aerospace OEM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Alternate work experience in place of degree
- Intermediate to advanced level computer skills including Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Word
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be very detail oriented
- Professional presence and positive attitude
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Prior experience as a production planner in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Familiar with basic manufacturing processes and workflows
- Familiarity and direct experience with ERP systems
- Ability to read, interpret and understand technical data and drawings
