MRO Parts Room Clerk

Job Summary
Verify and inspect incoming MRO deliveries against purchase orders, tagging missing or damaged items for quarantine. Process all received parts into the CMMS (eMaint) within 24 hours, creating standardized records and assigning permanent bin locations using the AISLE-BAY-SHELF-BIN coding format. Issue inventory only against approved Work Orders, manage replenishment based on Min/Max levels, and perform daily cycle counts to maintain accuracy. Enforce 5S visual organization standards and comply with food safety systems including SQF, HACCP, and GMP. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with flexible scheduling for overtime and weekends. Forklift license required; HACCP certification mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior parts room, storeroom, warehouse, or inventory-control experience
- Experience using a CMMS for inventory transactions and part records
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to successfully complete HACCP Certification
- Must have a Forklift License or be able to complete the required training within 90 days of hire
- Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work overtime, including weekends, when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant technical or inventory coursework
- Experience in a food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment
- Hands-on experience with eMaint and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Knowledge of MRO spare parts across mechanical, electrical, and consumable categories
- Good verbal, written, and mathematical skills
- Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with co-workers, other departments, and vendors
- Familiarity with 5S and lean methodology
- Ability to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish
