Job Summary
Negotiate parts and service costs to identify lowest cost alternatives meeting quality requirements, then purchase preventive maintenance and upgrade parts in conformance with SOPs. Maintain the equipment master spare parts list and master data within the ERP and CMMS systems, ensuring all items are bar coded and movement transactions are recorded. Monitor open purchase orders with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries, conduct quarterly cycle counts and physical inventory, and report slow-moving or obsolete parts for disposition. Generate reports analyzing part usage trends and high-turning items to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts. Requires 100% onsite attendance for Monday through Saturday, 10-hour shifts.
