MRO Mechanical Supervisor

MRO Mechanical Supervisor responsible for supervising technicians in maintenance activities within Boeing Defence UK’s MRO environment. Responsible for ensuring process adherence, accurate work recording, and contractual/regulatory compliance. Provides leadership, direction and mentoring to a small team of aircraft technicians, can plan, sequence and distribute technical work, and ensure completion of associated paperwork IAW company procedures. Must hold or be able to obtain supervisory authorisations for the aircraft type, and may mentor apprentices/trainees. Duties include overseeing assembly/disassembly/ modification of systems, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic/electrical/electronic subsystems, and maintaining compliance with MAA RA, MRP Part 145 and SMS/QA requirements. Requires ability to interpret technical documents and drawings, effective communication, and flexibility with work locations/times to deliver aircraft on schedule. Promotion of safety, quality culture, and continuous improvement activities; potential for 2nd signature on type within first 3 months.
