MRO Material Data and Reporting Specialist

Job Summary
MRO Material Data and Reporting Specialist will investigate material master and purchasing issues, interface with manufacturers, M&E, and plant requestors, and coordinate/lead meetings related to investigations. Supports digital transformation or system upgrades (e.g., SAP, Maximo, TCS/IMPAC), assists with master data governance (part numbers, descriptions, units of measure, classifications), and provides insights to inform material master data coding strategies. Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Databricks visualization tools and Power BI; communicate solutions to stakeholders and handle escalations independently. This is an in-person role at GM Global Tech Center – Cole Engineering Building, Warren, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a MRO materials master role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with SAP and/or DCC environments
- Power BI experience (report creation, dashboards, basic modeling)
- Ability to organize, validate, and reconcile data for analysis and reporting
- Ability to lead meetings or working sessions
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across functions
