Job Summary
Purchasing Specialist (MRO) responsible for timely ordering of production equipment parts, tooling, and services to maintain inventory levels for manufacturing readiness; administer purchasing guidelines, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate with vendors to ensure pricing, delivery, and quality meet operations needs. Responsibilities include inventory control, supplier relations, GR/IR reconciliation, managing p-card transactions, 5S-compliant storage, and contributing to continuous improvement and safety initiatives within the facility.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related or transferrable work experience
- Computer skills- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing environment quickly
- Ability to develop good working relationships with others
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Extensive purchasing experience for a manufacturing facility
- AA degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Procurement, or a related field is beneficial.
