Job Summary
Procure commodities including major machined parts, castings, electronic components, and mechanical assemblies. Oversee and implement obsolescence management strategies while managing program execution for subcontracted assemblies and highly engineered technical products. Collaborate across supply chain departments, including Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Planning, Customer Service, Quality, and leadership. This temporary assignment reports to the Supply Chain and Planning Manager at Ontic's new Miramar, FL site, with a duration up to six months. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of procurement experience, and ERP/MRP proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in procurement and planning
- Experience with tactical and strategic supplier development and networking
- Microsoft Suite proficiency, including Word, Outlook, Excel
- This position must meet export control compliance requirements
- A 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
Desired Qualifications
- ERP/MRP systems proficiency preferred
- Aerospace industry experience preferred
