MRO Buyer III

Job Summary
Develop supply base and Supply Chain strategies aligned with customer and Business Unit requirements. Manage MRP to ensure material supply meets demand while optimizing overall material cost and inventory levels. Analyze data to support liability decisions, issue Purchase Orders, monitor supplier performance, and balance inventory investment with service level. Collaborate with Planning and Production teams to validate demand signals and adjust supply plans; ensure material availability to support production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering preferred)
- 2–5 years of relevant experience
- Strong skills in: Problem solving & analytics
- Negotiation & sourcing
- Inventory planning and stock optimization
- Project and stakeholder management
- Solid understanding of MRP, demand planning, and inventory control principles (safety stock, lead time, MOQ, forecasting)
- Ability to: Analyze data, identify trends, and make planning decisions
- Balance cost vs. inventory vs. service level
- Good communication skills (local language + English)
- Preferable: Experience in MRO materials
- Supplier negotiation & technical understanding
