Job Summary
MRO Buyer responsible for non-inventory items, maintains stock levels, and manages the purchasing and inventory control process. Duties include creating purchase requisitions, obtaining approvals, handling PR/PO creation and verification, monitoring purchase progress in SAP or equivalent software, verifying quotations from suppliers, setting min/max stock levels, placing POs for MRO materials, ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining inventory accuracy through daily counts, resolving PR/PO issues to prevent invoice discrepancies, and collaborating with internal customers to provide cost-effective supply options. The role supports a manufacturing operation in Salem, Virginia with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
