Job Summary
Avionic Supervisor responsible for supervising a small team of aircraft technicians performing maintenance under Boeing’s MAA MRP Part 145 approval or MOD customer oversight. Duties include planning, sequencing, distributing and controlling technical work, ensuring accurate work recording and regulatory/commercial compliance, approving and mentoring apprentices/trainees, reviewing and ensuring aviation paperwork meets procedures, and maintaining high standards of Airmanship, safety, and quality. Requires interpreting technical documents, familiarity with QA/SMS programs, and the ability to obtain the appropriate supervisory authorisations for the aircraft type. Flexible with location/times to ensure timely delivery to customers; strong communication and leadership to guide peers and maintain schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Security clearance: ability to obtain UK security clearance
- Experience supervising technicians in aircraft maintenance
- Knowledge of MAA Regulatory Articles (RA) and MRP Part 145
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
- Ability to mentor and lead teams
- Trade apprenticeship or trade experience preferred
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Shift: UK site, local hire
