Job Summary
MRI Technologist PRN performing diagnostic imaging in advanced modalities (MRI, CT, etc.) for adults and/or pediatric patients. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, performing studies independently, handling on-call and portable exams, and maintaining quality control. Requires an associate or trade-school equivalency and ARRT radiography certification; MR modality experience is preferred but training is provided. Employment location involves Memorial Hospital Belleville/Shiloh area with multiple campus sites in Illinois/Missouri; strong emphasis on cross-training and on-call coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- Experience in MR/CT/RT/X-ray radiology or related imaging modalities preferred
- CPR
- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- Licensure as RT (R) or MR technologist certifications may be listed
