Job Summary
Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI, CT, mammography, and cardiac catheterization, for inpatients and outpatients. Perform studies independently, manage on-call situations, and conduct portable exams as required by the work area. Ensure quality control and adhere to safety protocols while serving adult and pediatric patients at Memorial Hospital Shiloh. Work as needed on rotating shifts in a Magnet-recognized acute care environment offering comprehensive medical and surgical services.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in one of the following areas: MR, CT, RT, X-ray, Radiology, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic, Rad Tech, Student Radiology, Student in clinicals, General Radiology (X-Ray Tech), Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, Rad Tech, Radiology Tech, Medical Imaging, RT, ARRT, MRI Graduate, magnetic resonance imaging, ARMRIT, MR, MRI Radiographer
