Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient preparation, education, and accurate documentation in the Radiology Information System. Operate imaging and specialty equipment, manage billing sheets, and support research activities. Assist students and junior technologists, planning multiple procedures in appropriate time sequence. Requires ARRT registration, two years of radiologic technology experience with one year in MRI, and CPR/BLS certification. Weekend-only schedule with medium physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and radiation exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the ARRT
- CPR certification
- Minimum of two (2) years experience
- One (1) year in MR
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs
- Occasional to frequent standing & walking
- Occasional sitting
- Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing)
- Blood-borne pathogen exposure
- Bio-hazardous waste
- Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors
- Communicable diseases
- Electrical shock
