Job Summary
Produce diagnostic MRI scans under clinical direction while managing film quality, patient care, safety, sterile technique, and staff education. Verify patient identity and history, assess physical conditions for examination plans, and react to emergency situations. Ensure correct demographics and image transmission to PACS, document procedures in RIS, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Review daily schedules and patient status to perform quality images consistently. Maintain active ARRT MRI credentials and adhere to departmental protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school or program of Radiologic Technology
- Current Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Radiographers with up-to-date continuing education credits
- Advanced registration in MRI with ARRT
- 1 year of MRI experience
