Job Summary
Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to superconducting magnets while informing and preparing patients for scans, including researching implanted devices. Maintain patient files with internal and external films, and prepare, clean, and stock the work area with supplies. Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair, and maintain necessary precautions for excessive radiofrequency exposure. IV contrast administration may be included as needed. This part-time role (0.2 FTE) offers 8 hours per week, either one full shift or two half-day shifts between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Burnsville or Edina locations. Candidates must be ARRT or ARMRIT certified with at least one year of full-time MRI experience. Twin Cities Orthopedics, a division of Infinite Health Collaborative, empowers patients with more control over their healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program
- ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1 year of full time experience in an MRI department
- Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time
- Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines
- Ability to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
- Ability to demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
- Ability to work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines. Prioritize workload effectively
- Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally in face-to-face, phone and email interactions
- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently push/pull patients up to 50 pounds, or patients in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 pounds
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift
- Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents
- Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer)
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available to work either one full shift or two half-day shifts between the hours of 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Must be able to work out of our Burnsville and Edina Crosstown locations
