Job Summary
Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality 3D images for medical diagnosis while screening patients for safety contraindications and administering contrast dye. Monitor image quality during procedures, adjust scanning parameters, and document all details in compliance with hospital policies. Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensure infection control protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic results. This 13-week travel assignment in Pell City, Alabama requires a Radiology program completion, one year of MRI experience, and a valid state license.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Radiology program of study with specialization and training in MRI
- One years' experience as an MRI Tech
- Valid Radiology/MRI license in compliance with state regulations
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be available for a 13-week travel assignment in Pell City, Alabama
