MRI Technologist – Travel Job

Job Summary
Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Prepare and position patients, provide instruction to reduce anxiety, and operate MRI equipment according to protocol while collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team. Execute day shifts consisting of a mix of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, including Saturday rotation, with typical hours ranging from 7:00–19:00, 7:00–15:30, or 8:00–17:30. Participate in call rotations shared among the team on an approximately every 4–6 week schedule. Support patient care in hospital settings and contribute to improved diagnostic services through travel contracts, direct hire, and temp-to-hire options.
Required Qualifications
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- MRI advanced level certification
- state licensure as required for practice in Wisconsin
- 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist
- BLS certification
- Experience performing MRI procedures in a hospital or trauma center environment
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to participate in call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners
- Previous experience working on multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in department committees
