Job Summary
Interpret physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images while performing CT and X-ray coverage in the OR environment. Work nights on a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation from Thursday evening through Wednesday evening, with guaranteed 38 hours per week. Maintain compliance with facility fingernail policy and reside within 50 miles of Kearney, NE. Support Level II trauma protocols with prior neurosurgical MRI experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or appropriate modality
- State licensure as required for MRI technologists in Nebraska
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist
- Ability to perform CT and X-ray, including operating in the OR environment
- CT and X-ray certifications
- Drivers license
- Willingness and ability to work a schedule that supports Level II trauma, including CT and X-ray coverage and limited MRI for heads and spines
- Compliance with facility fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
- Candidates must not be currently employed (full time, part time, or PRN) with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity
- Prior experience supporting Level II trauma centers and neurosurgical MRI protocols
