MRI Technologist – Travel Job

Job Summary
Perform magnetic resonance imaging exams, prepare and position patients, operate MRI scanners, and administer contrast as indicated to ensure images meet radiologist requirements. Follow facility-specific protocols and safety procedures while delivering patient-centered care. Maintain ARRT or AMRIT certification, hold an associate degree, and possess at least two years of MRI experience with Siemens system proficiency. Complete work history and skills checklist documentation along with supervisory reference forms. Varied afternoon and day shifts include one weekend per month. This assignment offers a 40-hour guarantee with full medical benefits, 401k matching, and 100% paid housing. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Alpena, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI
- Active certification through American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT)
- Associate degree
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
- Siemens MRI system experience
- Active American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Ability to provide Work History and Skills Checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to MRI
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Must meet facility residency restriction: candidate permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience administering IV contrast for MRI examinations
- Experience preparing records and coordinating studies for radiologist review
