Job Summary
Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols, ensuring proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality. Monitor patients throughout procedures for safety and comfort, administer contrast agents as directed, and verify patient information and documentation for accuracy. Maintain MRI equipment, report issues promptly, and adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff, while maintaining cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas. Work Monday through Thursday with no on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
- Current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
