Job Summary
Perform high-quality MRI scans on patients using established radiologist protocols while administering IV contrast when requested. Provide excellent patient care and customer service to all individuals being scanned. Administer weekly ACR mandated quality control on the MRI scanner and assist with image acquisition for ACR submissions. Interact with radiologists regarding protocols and special applications, ensuring the scan room remains secured from unauthorized personnel. Maintain a clean environment, complete daily totals sheets, and verify charges match authorizations. Enter MRI orders in Athena and bill out scans upon completion. Submit monthly peer reviews and report statistics to the supervisor. Maintain licensing by adhering to CEU responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT(MRI) certification or ARMRIT certification
- Must be flexible with schedule
- Ability to work both independently and as a team-player
- Maintain Licensing by adhering to CEU responsibilities
- All candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment drug screening and/or be subject to random drug testing
