Job Summary
Conduct advanced magnetic resonance imaging scans of heads, spines, extremities, and bodies, positioning patients and administering emergency injections under physician direction. Perform complex research evaluations of new imaging techniques, operate advanced MR equipment, and execute post-processing calculations and quality assurance monitoring. Confers with radiologists to establish parameters for non-standard examinations, notifies them of significant findings, and maintains permanent records on PACS. Independently manage non-routine procedures, triage scheduling, and equipment maintenance while ensuring patient safety and protocol adherence. Work Sunday through Saturday in 8.5-hour shifts with no call, earning $51.31–$66.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Tech
- Certified in MRI by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must be able to pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance
- Sunday - Saturday, 8.5 hour shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
- Occasional Holiday
