MRI Technologist - St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, NY - Full-time Evenings

MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI under the direction of the Chief of Medical Imaging, following departmental standards. Responsibilities include obtaining and recording clinical history, evaluating requests for appropriateness, instructing patients, maintaining clear communication throughout exams, following scan protocols, selecting appropriate technical factors, assisting in instruction of student technologists, ensuring patient comfort, performing MRI safety checks, knowing MRI emergency procedures, providing hearing protection, and completing documentation in RIS. Requires an AAS in Radiologic Technology, and current ARRT registration with NYS license; 1 year CT and/or MRI experience. Evenings shift; full-time position at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY.
