Job Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for preparing and positioning patients, performing pre-screening and educating patients about their examinations. Key tasks include monitoring patient data, ensuring high-quality imaging submissions, and maintaining equipment. Candidates must be proficient in critical thinking, multitasking, and display excellent customer service skills. Required qualifications include a high school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience or an Associate's degree, along with specific certifications in Radiologic Technology and MRI.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the New York Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date
