MRI Technologist

Operates an MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images by preparing and positioning patients, selecting technical parameters, and administering contrast media within scope of practice. Performs patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education, while entering and monitoring data before transferring images to PACS. Ensures equipment functionality and maintains a clean, orderly department including procedure rooms and storage areas. Works in a constant state of alertness, reporting any malfunction to appropriate personnel. Requires completion of an MRI or Radiology Technology program with BLS certification and ARRT or ARMRT registration. Day shift coverage of 36 weekly hours with sign-on bonuses and shift differentials available.
