Job Summary
Perform diversified clinical patient care, technical, and related duties within assigned modality under general supervision. Conduct patient assessments, correlate clinical findings with exam requests, and document all data within the EHR. Educate patients for exams, position them, and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare, and administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam. Select technical factors and sequences to produce quality images, properly identify anatomy, and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply MR safety principles to minimize risk to patient, self, and others, and assist physicians in performing procedures. This position offers a $20,000 new hire sign-on bonus and includes day/evening shifts with call and holiday rotation. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Radiation Therapy
- Attainment of post-primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Attainment of primary certification from the ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT within one year of eligibility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registration with the ARRT, ARMRIT or CAMRT within one year of eligibility
- Full vaccination against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus
- Exemption from vaccination requirement via signed statement certifying choice to be exempt once hired
- Availability for every 3rd weekend, call and holiday rotation
