Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
• •0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience
• •1 year of X-Ray experience
• •Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• •Must be registered with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) or obtain registration within 1 year in this position
• •Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• •Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations
• •Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• •Computer literacy
• •Ability to work overtime as required
• •Ability to learn and use new processes, tools, and equipment as required
• •Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs unassisted
• •Ability to lift patients and move patients up to 350lbs with assistance
• •Ability to lift objects from floor level to height of 72 inches up to 50lbs unassisted
• •Ability to push/pull objects/patients up to 350lbs unassisted
• •Ability to maintain 20/40 vision corrected
• •Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand
• •Ability to see and recognize objects at a distance
• •Ability to match or discriminate between colors
• •Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception
• •Good peripheral vision capabilities

Desired Qualifications

• •1 year of X-Ray experience
• •Experience with 3T, mobile, and upright MRI scanners
• •Experience with dedicated protocol support and system MRSO support
• •Ability to work with neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• •Ability to collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• •Ability to ensure proper care, maintenance, and quality control of MRI equipment and work areas
• •Ability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• •Ability to prepare, position, and educate patients regarding MRI procedures
• •Ability to monitor patients throughout examinations
• •Ability to operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently
• •Ability to utilize all available MRI resources, protocols, and technology
• •Ability to adhere to established safety standards, infection control practices, and MRI-specific protocols
• •Ability to perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
• •Ability to work weekends (Sat-Mon)
• •Ability to work evenings (7:00am-7:30pm)
