Operate MRI equipment independently to achieve high-quality images while screening all patients and staff for magnet safety. Perform procedures proficiently by positioning patients, selecting appropriate coils, and administering contrast materials as prescribed. Complete imaging studies timely, charge them appropriately, and communicate sedation needs or delays to patients and families. Prepare scan rooms using approved cleaning protocols, maintain supplies, and implement emergency procedures when needed. Enter and record all data accurately, perform quality control tasks, and provide clinical instruction to staff and students. Coordinate daily workflow and prepare staff schedules to ensure proper department staffing.
