Job Summary
Operate MRI equipment independently to achieve high-quality images while screening patients and staff for magnet safety. Perform procedures proficiently by positioning patients, selecting coils, and administering contrast materials within scope of practice. Complete imaging studies timely, communicate sedation needs, and manage emergency procedures as required. Prepare scan rooms using approved cleaning protocols, maintain supplies, and enter data accurately into departmental systems. Conduct quality control tasks and provide clinical instruction to staff and students. Coordinate daily workflow and prepare schedules to ensure proper department staffing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT registered in Radiology & MRI
- ARRT registered in MRI
- ARRMRIT-American Registry of MRI certification
- BLS
- Proficient computer skills (database)
- Data entry skills
- Mathematical skills
