Operate MRI equipment independently to achieve high-quality images while screening patients and staff for magnet safety. Properly position patients, select coils, and administer contrast materials per physician orders, ensuring studies are completed and sent to radiologists promptly. Identify patients using two identifiers, communicate sedation needs, and prepare scan rooms with approved cleaning protocols. Perform quality control tasks, enter data accurately, and implement emergency procedures as needed. Provide clinical instruction to staff and students, prepare schedules, and coordinate daily workflow.
