Job Summary
Conduct Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment while accounting for individual patient special or age-related needs. Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors and techniques to produce optimal images for patient treatment. Perform this work during full-time day shifts, specifically three 12-hour rotations from Friday through Sunday. Maintain an Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist license upon hire and obtain national certification within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
