Job Summary
PRN MRI Technologist responsible for performing MRI exams, maintaining image quality, and providing patient care per department procedures in Wellstar Douglasville. Demonstrates ability to set up equipment, adjust technique for optimal study, and ensure accurate patient identification, pre/post-procedure verification, and post-exam documentation. Requires independent judgment, collaboration with team, adherence to infection control, contrast administration safety, and proficiency with MRI operations and related workflows (PACS/RIS).
Required Qualifications
- Certificate in Radiologic Technology
- Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients
