Job Summary
Operate an MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images by preparing and positioning patients, selecting technical parameters, and administering contrast media within scope. Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, education, and data entry while ensuring high-quality image submission to PACS with correct markers and history. Maintain equipment functionality, report malfunctions, and keep the department clean and orderly. Requires completion of a Radiology program and ARRT-R credential with ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification within 12 months. Pay starts at $35.81/hour with daily pay and shift differentials available for night, weekend, and additional shifts. Join the SSM Team to make an impact.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology program
- ARRT-R credential
- ARRMRIT or ARRT-MR within 12 months of hire date
- Completion of a MRI or Radiology Technology program
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
