Job Summary
MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI exams, positions patients for exams, monitors patients and assists radiologists, and selects imaging parameters to produce high-quality examinations. Ensures accurate clinical and demographic information, screens patients for contraindications, and maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA. Works as part of a radiology team to optimize imaging and supports imaging staff. Requires ARRT/ARMRIT certification and CPR/BLS; physical tolerance for lifting up to 15 pounds; onsite PRN role with assigned days (Mondays and Tuesday–Friday as needed) and light travel to the Wappingers Falls location. Onsite at Poughkeepsie, NY and Wappingers Falls, NY.
