Job Summary
MRI Technologist PRN at an outpatient imaging center in Omaha, NE. Responsibilities include performing routine to complex MRI procedures under the Radiology Medical Director, ensuring ALARA-compliant safety, documenting orders, corroborating clinical history, calculating and ensuring image quality, providing patient and student education, conducting quality assurance, venipuncture and IV access as prescribed, and participating in performance improvement. The role requires independent multitasking, knowledge of MRI equipment and protocols, and adherence to regulatory guidelines; opportunity to contribute to a compassionate imaging team with a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registration in Radiography or ARMIT (MRI) with current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT
- MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers
- state licensure must be met in the state of practice
