Job Summary
MRI Technologist PRN role performing routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging across multiple modalities (MRI, ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, nuclear medicine). Will venipuncture when indicated and assist Radiologist/Radiology nurses with sedation cases. Requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT (or ARRT R with MR licensing within 1 year), BLS, Texas DOS Health certification, and 1 year of work experience. Responsibilities include clear communication, collaborative teamwork, accountability, patient experience improvement, professional growth, and engagement in building a winning team. Facilities listed include Methodist Richardson Medical Center service area in Dallas/Collin counties. Locations: Richardson, TX and Allen, TX. This is a per-diem/PRN imaging role within a full-service hospital context.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Work Experience: 1 year required
- Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation
