Job Summary
Perform routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive imaging services including ultrasound, CT, PET, and nuclear medicine. Assist the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases and perform venipuncture when indicated. Maintain clear communication, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth within a Magnet-designated hospital serving Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas. This role requires an ARRT (MR) certification or a path to obtain it within one year, along with current BLS and Texas Department of State Health certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year Work Experience
- ARRT (R) certification (with requirement to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation)
