Job Summary
PRN MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures in MRI and at least one advanced imaging modality for adults and/or pediatric patients; prepares patient and equipment, performs studies independently including on-call, portable exams, and other sites as required; no MRI experience required and cross-training provided; role is in Memorial Hospital Shiloh, IL with rotating shifts and no call or overnights; supports include CT, X-ray, radiology/medical imaging terms and ARRT/MR/RT certifications; role requires associate degree or higher and MRI radiography certification; basic responsibilities include patient prep, imaging procedures, and quality control.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR
- Experience in MR, CT, RT, X-ray or Radiology is relevant (as listed in description)
- No MRI experience needed – cross train
- Prefers experience in MR/CT/IR modalities (2 years or less)
