Job Summary
Performs MRI procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, ensuring patient safety and the correct procedure for associated diagnoses. Responsibilities include properly annotating and labeling images, obtaining IV access, administering contrast media, maintaining equipment, and adhering to regulatory guidelines. Contributes to departmental goals through teamwork, attending meetings, and performing general clerical duties.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient with obtaining IV access
- Ability to administer contrast media or other imaging agents as required
- Proficient with EMR and PACS
- Ability to maintain procedure room for optimal efficiency
- Ability to keep equipment in proper working order
- Familiarity with ODH and other regulatory guidelines
- Ability to perform general clerical duties accurately
