Job Summary

Perform MRI procedures according to protocol, including patient preparation, history intake, and safety screening for implants or allergies. Execute high-quality scans to submit to the Radiologist, coordinate protocols, and transfer images as needed. Maintain and inspect equipment, report failures immediately, and monitor the patient environment throughout the exam. Interface with the Lead Technologist and Center Manager regarding departmental concerns while adhering to safety procedures and security protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Two plus years' experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
  • Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
  • Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Adheres to Envision's Code of Conduct and Compliance Policies
  • Attends annual Compliance training as set forth by the Company
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Must be able to exert up to 30 pounds of force frequently
  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms
  • Must be able to talk and hear
  • Must have close vision
  • Must be able to adjust focus
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be available for PRN shifts

Desired Qualifications

  • ARRT certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
  • ARMRIT certification
