Job Summary
Perform MRI procedures according to protocol and age-specific needs, ensuring patient preparation and safety. Maintain and monitor patient environment, adhering to safety procedures while contributing to the security of the unit. Responsibilities include interacting with patients to gather medical history, reviewing charts for clinical information, performing quality scans, coordinating with radiologists on protocols, and maintaining imaging equipment. Candidates should have a detail-oriented, self-motivated approach with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Two plus years’ experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
