MRI Technologist - PRN

Job Summary
Conduct high-quality MR studies while ensuring patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection techniques. Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists, and train new technologists or patient coordinators as needed. Order supplies, clean units, and assist in preparing for patient transport daily. Maintain valid state driver's license and CPR certification, with ARRT or equivalent certification required. Work at several locations with potential local travel, adhering to physical requirements including lifting non-ambulatory patients. Complete pre-employment background checks and drug screens as conditions of employment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Associate's Degree
- ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
- State license
- CPR Certification
- Valid state driver's license
- 6 months clinical MRI scanning experience
- Local travel
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Pre-employment background check
- Drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT
- Strong customer service skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
